Central Newfoundland Waste Management will be hosting Clean Sweep Day on November 8 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. This is the day to dispose of items that can’t normally be thrown out with the standard waste disposal for specialized recycling.

The regional site on Route 3-1-09, Norris Arm North Access road, will be accepting paint, electronics, and used oil and glycol products such as oil filters, lubricant oil aerosol containers, and oil/antifreeze containers for disposal. Collect any waste around your house and/or business that you haven’t been able to get rid of and bring it down to the Regional site on November 8.
