Gander and Area Chamber of Commerce AGM 2026
The Gander and Area Chamber of Commerce will be hosting our 2026 Annual General Meeting on Friday, June 19, from 12:00 – 1:00 pm at the Gander Elks Lodge. The Elks will be serving Lasagna and garlic toast, as well as tea and coffee with dessert for this event.
We are also excited to have the honourable Craig Pardy, Minister of Finance, joining us as this year’s keynote speaker. A retired school principal and educator, Craig began his teaching career in 1983 and has 30 years in education. He served as chair of the Clarenville and Area Co-operative and, in 2013, became the Chairperson of the Milton-George’s Brook Local Service District.
A lifelong resident, Craig was first elected to Newfoundland and Labrador’s legislature on May 16, 2019, as Member of the House of Assembly for the beautiful district of Bonavista. In 2022, Craig was appointed to the House of Assembly’s Management Commission and in 2023, was appointed Deputy Opposition House Leader. He now serves as the Minister of Finance, Minister of Seniors, and is the President of Treasury Board.
