Waves of Songs from Wales
You’re invited to a very special afternoon of music in one of the most iconic venues in the province.
Join us Wednesday, July 9th at 2:00 PM in the historic International Lounge of the Gander International Airport for an unforgettable choral experience. The event will open with a performance by Gander’s own Community Chorus, followed by the internationally acclaimed Côr Cymry Gogledd America – North American Welsh Choir, visiting as part of their Atlantic Canada tour.
Under the direction of the esteemed Dr. Mari Morgan, with special guest pianist Claire Stevens, the North American Welsh choir will treat you to soaring harmonies and rich cultural storytelling through song. This is a rare opportunity to enjoy world-class choral music in a setting that has welcomed legends from around the globe. All are welcome – come celebrate the power of music and community in a truly historic space.
Admission is free, and if you are able, donations to the food bank will be gladly accepted.
