You Are Here: A Come From Away Story is the intimate, true-life account of Gander, a community of 10,000 people that suddenly doubled in size when 38 international flights were forced to land in its airspace.
While these events inspired the global smash-hit musical Come From Away, this documentary reveals the real faces behind the stage characters. From Captain Beverly Bass to Mayor Claude Elliott, the film captures first-hand testimonies of the five days when strangers became family. In a moment defined by fear, the people of Gander offered the world a legacy of healing that continues to resonate today.
