Moms found a safe and beautiful place to live out their golden years in peace.
Oram’s Bethusta Manor is quite the classy spot to be living these days ! Both of our Mom’s live there now and have been since the opening. They love the place. Debbie was such a good person to be around, she is truly missed. We wish her a very happy retirement. The food was really good in the first year, however not so good at all lately. We have been buying a lot of groceries these days as both Mom’s are not enjoying the meals of late. We visit often, they are being very patient, giving the new kitchen employees a chance to improve. We don’t think that’s going to happen anytime soon as it seems to be getting worse. So, other than food being average, (and I believe that is a stretch,) I would rate the Bethusta as a very good place to live. I am sure everyone who has elderly parents knows that meals are extremely important to them. If they are eating sandwiches in their rooms and not even bothering to go to meals because they know it probably wouldn’t be worth the walk to the dining room, then we have a problem. So I would strongly recommend to Oram’s Bethusta owners to quickly deal with this food issue or they will find themselves in the mediocre ratings. Thank you to the very pleasant staff members for being so good to our parents during Covid and every day. The staff, especially the staff members that have been there since the opening are amazing.
