Gander and Area Chamber of Commerce held its first, in-person event in 19 months and it was wonderful that it was an event to honour Small Businesses during Small Business Week! Special thanks to our Guest Speakers: Sheldon Handcock owner of ITSecurity NL who spoke about Cyber Security and Pauline Vallis Commercial Accounts Manager with Cal LeGrow Insurance who spoke about Cyber and Privacy Breach Insurance. Both gave excellent presentations and provided some really great food for thought points! If you couldn’t make it to the luncheon yesterday it will be aired on Rogers TV in the next week or so. Thank you once again to the staff of the Quality Hotel & Suites Gander for the great service, great meal and providing a safe venue with proper protocol in place so we could get back to hosting an in-person event!
